All works are shot with classic Polaroid cameras, such as the Spectra/Image 1200 or the SX-70.
The unique photographs that result are then printed as Hi-res extra large fine-art pigment prints.
The combination of Ultra-Chrome-Inks and High-Quality Papers gives them the space necessary for completely expressing the Polaroid material, with its painting-like atmosphere.
The visible technical “imperfections” of Polaroids, such as the blurriness, breaks in the emulsion, and other apparently erratic reactions of the Polaroid film, are essential parts of these works.
All fine-art pigment prints are mounted permanently onto a Alu-Dibond plate and f.e. framed with handcrafted wooden distance-frames made of bleached European oak and protected by museums glass.
Regular print size: 100 x 124 cm( framed aprox. 106 x 130 cm )
The prints are available in limited editions of 7 prints + 3 ap each and will be signed on the back.
